COSTA AZUL

For me summer = to beach :D and what better for this hot weather than a tropical print dress, some eco friendly flip flops and nothing more than just endless blue sea...

Ever since I was a kid, I've been fascinated about archaeological sites and one of my dreams is to vistit all this places in Mexico and one fo them was to visit the pyramids of Teotihuacán and my dream finally came true a few days ago. Of course I couldn't leave the place without climbing at least one of the pyramids, so I climbed up the pyramid of the Sun, it took ages because it was so hot and so windy but once I was up there, it was all worth it!

How I mentioned on Facebook (if you like it you can follow me here) this is the first part of this post because I have so many photos that I wanna share with you guys :D Well this day started with a quick visit the Plaza of the Three Cultures where they told us that this place was called of like this because you can see three different periods of Mexico the the Aztec one one, the colonization , the colonization of Mexico and the Viceroyalty of New Spain. Then we when to the Basilica de Guadalupe and I have to confess that even when I'm not a religious girl I find Churches and temples really fascinating because all they have a great history behind them and their architecture, their interior design is amazing they are like a free museums, they are just amazing places and not just here in Mexico but all around the world they have a particular thing that characterize the country of origin. Our last stop for this post is with "The Martinez" that's how our tourist guide called them where is a place where they produce all kind of crafts, necklace and decorative items made with obsidian. Also they show us how some alcoholic beverage are made for a plant called Agave and we also had the chance of taste them. Last but not least, and I think it was one of the most interesting things was that they show us how Aztecs obtained paper for their scrolls and how they obtained needle and thread form the Agave plant and how with some flowers and calcium they made colorful thread... it was an interesting evening but this hasn't even started yet..

The second day of my trip to Mexico City was for taste the typical food of a place called Coyoacan. I think when you go some place new you hace to try the local food but no in fancy restaurants but in the places were the locals go eat. The outfit was so simple denim, white blouse, gold accessories and a hat because packing was so hard cause I  actually don't believe in what the weather service says it always the opposite was predicted thunderstorms and low temperatures as 18 ° C and it only rained one day and it was almast all day hot not as in my homwtown where we reach more than 40°C, I wanted to bottle the weather and bring in back home with me, because here is so hot :(
