I have an obsessíon with black garments and lately also with sequin and different paters so what a better combo than this prom outfit... Sequin is one of those trends that always come back in Xmas and specially in new year, I gotta confess that I have a lot of items in this material and Im crazy to wear.. unfortunately my beloved camera just die :( so I have to send it to fix, I just hope they have it on time for the holidays. Meanwhile I let you with this photos that were taken with the camera of my sister.. Have a great almost weekend!

CROWN ME

Another crazy and unusual post.. Another day in my night life and with my friends, this time just playing around with somw crowns, eating the candies we used to eat when we where in high school (we all are in college or already graduated), filming funny videos and doing some karaoke.. a really fun nigh!!

SAPO'S DAIRY

Sometimes when I go out I get to late of work of simply Im not in the mood of taking outfit photos but always when I go out I take pictures of me, my friends and the place, Im a photo adict. Today on this post I'll show you something a little bit more personal, my friends and my night life.. The place is called Sapo's, that is the spanish word for toads, yeap I know a funny name for a place but the thematic is really nice, all green and when you go upstairs in the bar they have this swings, wich I think is really witty if you go drink something cause even when I was sober, it was hard getting to sit on them wihtout swinging sideways xD but it was so fun!

VLOG 5: EN LAS NUBES

They say someone can get you the stars but what happend when you want the clouds? ha ha is not that I'm in the clouds for a boy but here where I live people says "you are in the clouds" when you like someone or when your thinking in something special! Hope you enjoy being in the clouds, literraly!

VLOG 3: Arucas

The third video is more long than the first two, here you can see one rommie of mine Fer and hear my other roomie Karen, in this video we started our adventure around the island of Gran Canaria where we rented a car, a petit Mercedes-Benz, that actually was one of the cheapest there in Europe (Can you believe in the Island they use them to be Taxis, and also some of the buses are MB, weird ha?) and we drove to some near small cities of the island.. HFW: The Cocktail

Hermosillo Fashion Week has come to and end and what better way to say "see you later" than a cocktail party with some guests, have some delicious desserts and be able to meet and have a little talk with the designer Benito Santos. It was nice to meeting him and also know that there are some designer and a lot of cool people trying to make the mexican fashion industry bigger, better and bolder..

HFW MEN'S FASHION : OVANDOS

 

Ovandos is a store for men sspecialized in shirts, suits and ties. The truth is that I wasn't very exited about this fashion show for me suit are all the same is really difficult they impress me but I actually enjoy the fashion show beside it was for the great models but also because they use simple suit outfits with cobalt blue, burgundy and purple on the ties, no ties or the infallible mix of white and black and some of them even lok more casual, that's one of the problems I have with suits, they tend to be a little bit too formal but they actually make them look very casual chic...

Fashion Weeks are one of the mayor events in fashion all around the world and we all know what are the biggest and important ones(New York, Paris, London and Milan). For a small city like mine, it has been always with local designers but ths time it has a mayor one (w will talk about that later but you probably already know). Hermosillo Fashion Weeks started with the runway of Ru Alta Costura by the designer Leonrdo Coello, his work is simple but elegant, colorful but no overwhelming, he makes great silhouettes with dresses that caught your eyes...

GUADALAJARA

Black and grey. With this two colors you can never go wrong but somethimes they're kinda boring so a little pop of color should be added that's why I decided not to use a black bag but anyway this beautiful city is Guadalajara, this was my second this city and it still surprise me with it beauty and awesome things specially this sculptures from a table, the wings and many chairs in all sizes. They are amazing right?

TANGELO

Have you ever wonder how many shades the color orange has? I do and I was searching for the exact match for my shirt and as the title says it's call Tangelo (I think it's also a fruit).  I read in a local magazing "Fashionista" (Edition April/May "The Spring Cocktail" 2012 No. 12)  that the color Tangerine Tango is the color of the year and I couldn't be more agree, this reddish orange hue translates bold, magnetic, and cheerful energy, that leave you with the feeling like you’ve been soaking up the sun... What do you think? Do you like the color?

FLORAL NEON

This photos were taken in some places that I've never been before it was called "Island of the Scorpions", and the "Chapala lake" that is the biggest lake in Mexico. I know wer're are almost heading fall but I can't avoid it, I'm in love with high waist shorts in all shapes and colors but I have been falling in love with all thing with flowers, even when they are the spring cliché. That day was so sunny and people stop and lokked at e cause my neon pink flat was shining even more with that amazing sun, even when it was going dark, all you could see was my flats ha ha I love them!

NEUTRAL

While I was reading my emails there was one that caught my attention that says "It is possible to be a fashion/style blogger without using all the brands from Inditex?" And the answer is YES! There are tons of others brands and stores, I think it doesn't matter if you're wearing a high fashion brand or not, what really matter is how you put it together and if you like it, wear it as simple as that! and for showing you that, I made this outfit that I bought in a store in Tucson (except the shoes) called "Ross Dress For Less",  is a store that has so many "unknown" brands and some others very well known as Michael Kors (recently added), DKNY, Calvin Klein, Betsey Johnson, Steve Madden, Nine West, Tommy Hilfiger, etc. but for much affortable prices you can find items from 0.99$ untill 80$ or so.. In my wardrobe I have so many items from this unknown brands and I love them so don't be afraid, the only thing you should be afraid is of your own taste..

AQUARIUM

When it comes to see animals and 100 % up for it, I love animals, the more exotic the best so we went to the Aquarium to see a show of birds, sea ​​lions and watched many type of fish. It was so hot and sunny that day, you probably can tell for my super bright first two pics of me and my eyes are smaller than usual xD My sister told me that this outfit wasn't a good combo, she said "that skirt is to fancy for that denim shirt" and I told her "denim can be worn with everything, you use it everyday, I'm just using it backwards, the denim on the top and the other fabric on the bottom". What do you think should I have listened to her or not? For me it was a no, I was happy with my outfit (:

Cuando se trata de ver animales tengan por seguro que voy a querer hacerlo y entre mas exóticos mejor, es por eso que fuimos al acuario a ver un show de aves, lobos marinos y una gran variedad de peces. El dpia fue muy caluroso y soleado, creo que se pueden dar cuenta en las primeras dos fotos de mi con mis ojos un poco más pequeños de lo normal xD antes de ir hacia alla, mi hermana me dijo que mi combinación no se veia bien, en sí dijo "esa falda esta muy elegante para esa camisa de mezclilla" y yo le conteste "la mezclilla puede se usada con lo que sea, yo solo la estoy usando al revés, la mezclilla arriba  la otra tela abajo". Ustedes que opinan, debí de hacerle caso o no? Por lo menos a mi me gusta mi combinación y estoy feliz con mi outfit (:

GARDEN LOUNGE

Today I finally managed to steal my dad's laptop and finally update the blog is so weird not having the usual thing here.. Anyway, this day was the first one in Mazatlan and because we were tired of the 10 hrs driving trip, we wanted to keep it simple so we just went to eat in this beautiful restauran called Garden Lounge, the weather was hot but still good for wear pants ( I think this was the only day) and a fresh shirt and drink lot of piñas coladas..

Hoy por fin pude robarme por poco tiempo la laptop de mi padre y actualizar el blog, es tan extraño no poder hacerlo como siempre. En fin, este día fue el primero que estuvimos en Mazatlan y como estabamos cansados de un viaje de 10 hrs, quisimos hacer algo sencillo y solo salimos a comer en este lindo restaurante llamado Garden Lounge, el clima estaba un poco caluroso pero aun se podían usar pantalones (y creo que este fue el único día) y una blusa simple y fresca y por supuesto tomar muchas piñas coladas..

GOLDEN CACTUS

Incluso cuando no vivo en una ciudad con playa, tengo muchas cerca, a hora manejando ya sea a norte o al sur. Esta playa en particular se llama Bahía de Kino y la he visitado varias veces, pero lo que más captó mi atención durante este viaje de menos de 6 horas fue este gigantesco cactus. Fue un día muy caluroso perfecto para usar short y una blusa holgada..

P.D. Estare viajando hasta el 1 de Agosto y no se si tenga internet durante el viaje pero en cuanto vuelva me pongo al corriente. Que tengan un feliz verano!!

Even when I don't live in a beach town I've many really close to me, like one hour driving to the north or to the south. This in particular is called "Kino Bay" and I've been here so many times but this time what caught my atention wasn't the gorgepus see but it was this gigantic cactus. It was a very hot day, perfect for short and a loose shirt...
