Como si nunca te hubiera conocido..

Es increíble  como puedes vivir muchos años en una ciudad sin llegar a conocerla del todo. Yo he vivido toda mi vida aquí en Hermosillo, excepto claro por mi corto tiempo de vida en Europa, pero al regresar entré a una asociación en mi escuela que se encarga de los estudiantes que vienen de otros estados del país y fuera de este, llevarlos a conocer la escuela, lugares cercanos a la ciudad y sobre todo enseñarles la cultura y lugares más bonitos de nuestra ciudad. Para mi sorpresa, al hacer un mini recorrido por la ciudad me di cuenta de que jamás la había recorrido como "turista" y en realidad ver todas las cosas bonitas que tiene hasta ese día. Fue una sensación un poco extraña, estar tantos años en una ciudad, verla y recorrerla a diario pero en realidad nunca mirarla como se debe. Conocía todos los lugares a los que fuimos, Villa de Seris, Musas, Cerro de la Campana, Catedral, Plaza Bicentenario, etc. pero recorrer tu ciudad como si nunca la hubieras conocido es como conocerla por primera vez y creo que eso es lo que pasa cuando vas  a una ciudad nueva ya que al no conocer nada, todo o casi siempre todo te fascina. Fue un gran día y sobre todos unas lindas fotos por la ciudad y su maravillosa vista nocturna..

Is amazing how you can live so many years in the same place but not really get to know it at all. I have been living in the same city Hermosillo all my life, except of course for my tiny European time life, but when I came back here I got into an association in my school that is in charge of the students that come from others states of my country and foreign countries too, take them to know the school, places near the city and specially show them the nicest spots here in our city. To my surprise, when we did a mini tour around the city I figure out that I had never walked around the city as a "tourist" and it was a really weird feeling because all those pretty things were around me and I actually never saw them. I knew all the place we went, Villa de Seris, Musas, Cerro de la Campana, Catedral, Plaza Bicentenario, etc. but walked around the city as a tourist gives you a new perspective of seeing the places and I think that what happens to you when you go to a new city or spot as you don't know anything you are fascinated about everything or at least almost everything. It was a great day with amazing pictures of the city and its marvelous night view..
